Need a transaxle: CanAm, late model Corvette, etc.

I wonder if there are any Corvette kits with nicely detailed transaxles?  I bought a kit of a Hewland one, but it is unusable.  Maybe a Ferrari kit, or a Lambo one?  I am not building a dragster but a Salt Flats racer, thus the need for a gear box.  Hope to hear from somebody to solve my problem.
